First. I downloaded and installed other VPN apps several months ago. I had downloaded several and they did not work out very well at all. Then I decided to give Pro XPN a try. And there it was up and running and it was secure AND Private. Unless one has the private addressing you are using they are unable to find you let alone listen. Some times this method is called a "point-to-point tunneling protocol." We are in the tunnel and no one knows or cares you are there. Pro XPN has the best software for VPN Communications on the Planet!! In addition they have the customer care effort to match! Warning! You will fall in love with the proXPNs application and when the need arises a level of customer care to match! Definitely worth every penny of the investment! I dont understand why some people complain that it requires a paid account. A company providing services deserves payment. They is not a charity organization.

App works as expected. Unfortunately, using proXPN causes Internet speeds to slow to 1/3 of non VPN speeds. Worked with tech support and tried all combinations of setting. Nothing fixed the slowdown. Cancelled the service the same day I ordered it.

I have been using proxpn VPN for a little more than two weeks, and am happy with the service overall. BUT, the mobile app/functionality needs to be enhanced to mimic how the laptop/desktop version performs. For instance, you can set your computer to close some programs, should you lose a VPN connection. Yet, you cannot do that on a mobile device!! If a setting allowed a mobile device user to have the WiFi disconnect/turn off when the VPN connection is severed, then proxpn would get a five star rating from this user! I really hope this enhancement is instituted - otherwise, a mobile device user THINKS he/she is surfing the web in privacy, when he/she is not.

I am writing this review because of the customer service I received. I perched the premium account and use the service on my iPhone 5 and my MacBook Pro. The service works great on both. I recently purchased a iPad mini and expected the same results however, it would not work on my mini. I contacted the company and asked for help. The company responded with some suggestions. After multiple attempts we were not successful in getting the mini to connect to the VPN network. My last email to the company was I guess its the mini ( oh well thanks for the help ). Not expecting any more contact with the company and just writing it off, I received another email suggesting another solution. And this time it worked. Great communication and customer service from proXPN.

Importing a ProXPN profile worked great on my iPhone 4S. On my iPad Mini, pressing the "Import ProXPN Profile" button does nothing. Seeing as how this is one of only two buttons in the whole app, it feels like a major oversight for this feature not to work. I also see that another person in the reviews had an issue with their iPad Mini, so its not just me. Update please!

Couldnt get it to work. Downloaded app, wont let me try it out without upgrading to premium package. Lame!!!!

So folks this app is good and by the way the blackhawks r going to win the stanley cup again 2013 and 2014, BY THE WAY DONT GET FLAPPY BIRD

Installed on my iPhone 5 and the import function worked fine. Tried it in my iPad air and it failed to import the file. I hope an update is released to fix this bug.

I have used ProXPN for awhile now and have been really happy with it. The fact that they have worldwide servers is great. What I love about the latest update is that it FINALLY actually works with OpenVPN. The customer support had tried to help get it setup before the update but it never worked. Now it just works and the setup was super easy.

This update has finally added full functionality for importing your ProXPN profile into the OpenVPN app on both iPhones and iPads. Previous versions would work on my iPhone but not my iPad. Why is this important? The OpenVPN connection will usually work in places where PPTP VPN connections or ports have been blocked, and offers a connection with stronger encryption.

Security Now> you guys were right!! Easy to use, easy to connect anywhere, able to use the internet how it was intended; anonymously. My only qualm is that only one device per network can connect (cant use my phone and laptop at the same time; sometimes inconvenient).

I tried this bc it works on my computer only to find out that it doesnt work on my ipad. Waste an hr of my life.

After recent weeks repeatedly having to Disconnect because of extremely unusably slow speeds while connected to ProXPN Premium, and after asking them repeatedly why the slow speeds with no response, just now did the following test: ProXPN speed Using Speakeasy to Los Angeles at 9am weekday: 140904 HughesNet NetgearRouter ProXPN ON to Los Angeles: Down after four timeout failures 0.25Mbps Up could not complete due to timeouts 140904 HughesNet NetgearRouter ProXPN Off: Immediately after the On test above: Down 8.5 Mbps, Up 0.8 Mbps MacMini i5 OS 10.8.5 2.5GHz 4G, FireFox 31.0 with NoScript Off, Using HughesNet thru NetGear router I can no longer use ProXPN until unless they fix this.

The app itself is okay. It allows you to use Proxpn to create a VPN on your iPhone. The problem is that it destroys your speed. For such a service, some speed drop is understandable, but with this, youll be very lucky to get 10% of your normal speed. If speed is at all a concern for you, you should look for a different solution.

It never said it didnt run iphone 4 so I tried it. It opens then crashes. You cannot get into the app. Opened right up on my iPad. To bad. Proxpn had such a good rep too.

Its been several versions now and unable to import profiles in to openvpn. Doesnt work on iPhone or iPad. Other than that the service itself has worked great. May try building a config manually on desktop but I shouldnt have to.

Install app. Configure app. Authentication failed. Check configuration. Try again. Look for help. "Help is only available for paying subscribers." Delete app. Up yours, proxpn. Theres plenty of good VPNs to choose from. This is not one of them.

This service is a scam. I purchased the premium service and was never able to activate it. Im now out of my $$$...
